Georgiana Boss received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Political Science, graduating cum laude in 2009. She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2012. While in law school, she sought an internship with the Office of the Public Defender in Detroit, Michigan where her vigorous representation of indigent clients won her multiple 3L Litigator Awards.
After law school, Ms. Boss worked at the Broward County Public Defender’s office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she first chaired over 30 trials. The Broward Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys recognized her litigation skills by awarding her Top Litigator awards in 2013 and 2014.
Prior to joining Douglas & London, Ms. Boss litigated multiple issues of first impression involving New York’s Public Health Law 2801-d for a medical malpractice law firm located in New York City. Her practice for the last two years has been primarily in the area of complex products liability, with a special focus on pharmaceutical, medical device, and defective product cases.
Ms. Boss is admitted to the Bars of the State of New York and Florida, as well as in the United States District Courts of the Southern District of New York, Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. She is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA) and American Association for Justice (AAJ).
