On December 21, 2009, trial lawyer Nicholas Warywoda of Douglas & London secured a verdict in Brooklyn, New York in the amount of $1.93 million on behalf of a 76 year old man who was the victim of medical malpractice when his doctor failed to diagnose an infection in his knee which required surgery and subsequent admission to the hospital and a rehabilitation center.
