Prior to joining Douglas & London, Matthew served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jamie D. Happas, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court concentrating on complex pharmaceutical actions in New Jersey’s mass tort docket. He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Jessica R. Mayer, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court concentrating on complex pharmaceutical actions in
Matthew also worked for the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While at the EPA, Matthew served as an Environmental Engineer in the Region 2 office in the RCRA Corrective Action and surface water programs. During his time at EPA, Matthew was awarded the Gold Medal for Exceptional Service.
Since leaving the EPA and the court system, Matthew has devoted his legal career to representing plaintiffs. At Douglas & London Matthew uses his unique skills and works in the firm’s pharmaceutical mass torts, including the Yaz, Levaquin and Pain Pump cases. In addition, Matthew utilizes his unique understanding of environmental issues and works on toxic tort environmental cases at the firm, including a massive explosion at a fuel storage facility in
